You Were Never Meant to Fear Birth

Somewhere along the way, women stopped trusting their bodies. Our faith that once guided our beautiful healthy births turned to fear.

Birth became something to brace for.
Something to survive.
Something that “would have gone wrong” without intervention.

You’ve heard it before:

“Thank God I was in the hospital.”

This one liner has shaped an entire generation of women to believe their bodies are inherently unreliable and worse yet, broken.

The only TRUTH, is that the very hospital experience is what CAUSED every single emergency. The minute you got up to leave the safety of your home, is the minute the emergencies started.

Birth is not a medical condition

Birth is a normal, healthy and amazing physiological process when you don't interfere with it.

Not a pathology.
Not a malfunction.
Not something that needs to be managed.

The female body is designed with an intricate hormonal system that guides labor from beginning to end.

Oxytocin builds contractions.
Endorphins buffer pain.
The cervix softens and opens in response to this exact cascade.

This is intelligent divine design. But this only happens when the woman is free to move, is in her safe home away from strangers, beeping and artificial fluorescent lights and is allowed to be guided by her body's cues.

What disrupts birth

What we don’t talk about enough is how sensitive this process is.

Labor responds directly to environment.

When a woman feels:

Observed
Rushed
Interrupted
Unsafe

Her body shifts.

Stress hormones rise.
Oxytocin drops.
Labor can slow, stall, or become more difficult.

This is not failure. This is INTERFERENCE. And boy, let me tell you somethin....the roars and words that came from deep within my core would have rattled the room and everyone inside of it, had I, Dr. Heather, given birth inside that hospital. I don't think even I could have survived that experience if it were anywhere else besides my safe peaceful home.

The INTERFERENCE cycle

Many women enter birth trusting the system completely—only to find themselves in a cascade of interventions. And it all started with that first harmful ultrasound. Then came the domino effect of their poisons from the lab made synthetic garbage prenatal, the glucose test, the vaccines, the continuous devastating ultrasounds and other harmful diagnostic tests that always lead to more harmful and toxic tests for mom and baby. Oh but wait, it's not over yet...then comes the...

Induction
Epideral
Continuous monitoring
Restricted movement
Augmentation
Emergency cesarean
Antibiotic eye drops
Vaccines
Wash away the vernix, wrap in poison blanket so mom and baby cannot go skin to skin and cover head so mama can't smell her baby
Oh and don't forget the much needed FORMULA intervention to save your baby from starving

When does the insanity end? When do we start to trust the divine blueprint for birth?

What the evidence actually shows

Did you know that the rate of C-section births in the hospital is 32% vs only 6% for homebirths?

Large-scale reviews have found that women receiving midwife-led, low-intervention care experience:

Lower rates of cesarean birth
Lower rates of instrument delivery
Fewer interventions overall
Higher satisfaction with their birth experience

Continuous, supportive care—especially in environments where women feel safe—has also been shown to improve outcomes.

This isn’t fringe.

This is well-documented yet not so well known, FACTS.

Long before modern systems, women birthed in environments where they felt safe, supported, and undisturbed.

And their bodies responded accordingly.

Ditch your conventional OB and start interviewing a great midwife, TODAY.

NATURE WINS EVERY TIME

As a doctor of chiropractic, mother of four healthy unvaccinated HOMEBIRTHED children and the founder of Wild Mamas, I have seen what happens when women shift their fear into faith.

When they listen to their bodies.
When they nourish their bodies.
When they have FAITH in their bodies.

Birth changes. And babies return back to their wild.
