Each bar is handcrafted in small batches and cured for 6-weeks. We don't rush the process. Natural variations in color and texture may occur—including a light white layer known as soda ash. This is a normal part of the soap-making process and will disappear with the first use.

Australian Emu Oil is a deeply restorative, skin-compatible lipid treasured for its remarkable ability to penetrate and hydrate at a deeper level than most plant oils. Naturally rich in omega-3, -6, and -9 fatty acids, it helps replenish moisture, soften rough or dry areas, and support a healthy skin barrier. Its soothing properties make it especially beneficial for sensitive or irritated skin, enhancing the tallow’s natural ability to nourish, comfort, and restore a radiant, supple complexion.
As with all Wild Mamas soaps, this bar is free from synthetic fragrances, dyes, and harsh surfactants, supporting a healthy skin microbiome while offering a clean, grounding wash that feels restorative and safe for sensitive skin. All real soap is made with lye—it’s what transforms oils into a cleansing bar. We use only food-grade lye, and after our six-week curing period, none remains in the final bar. What’s left is a pure, gentle, nourishing soap.

Our prairie grass-fed and finished, regenerative organic certified, wild bison tallow is very similar in structure to our own skin cells, so our skin readily absorbs all its wonderful benefits!

Tallow is an animal fat (suet) rendered from the bison. Our ancestors used it for centuries because they inherently knew of its moisturizing and healing properties. Tallow is rich in fatty acids, essential for healthy skin. Loaded with vitamins A, D, E, and K, as well as CLA and antioxidants, tallow nourishes and protects our skin like nothing else!
It helps support skin texture, collagen regeneration, wound healing and overall appearance. It will also help to reduce inflammation and redness, making it a popular ingredient for those with sensitive skin.
Tallow also boasts antimicrobial properties, which may prevent acne and other skin infections.
